Marcia Maydana has an Honours degree in Psychology by the Pontifical Catholic University (PUCRS/Brazil). She is a fully registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Member of The Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Certified Member of the International Association of Applied Neuroscience (IAAN).

Throughout her career, Marcia worked with clients facing mental and physical disabilities in the community services sector, assisting them to develop interpersonal and life skills in the workplace. She also worked in the Organisational Psychology field, assessing and tracing potential talents for the selection and recruitment of candidates, mentoring clients as a Career Coach and creating partnerships with companies by delivering workshops where mental health and relationships were the focus.
Marcia believes that a caring and compassionate therapeutic environment can assist clients to feel welcomed and safe to work on life challenges. Her vibrant personality and empathetic approach ensure that a warm, enthusiastic and professional setting is provided. She is passionate about working with adolescents and adults on the treatment of emotional issues, coaching them to maintain a healthy and balanced life.
For over 10 years Marcia has dedicated her work with clients in private practices, located across the Sydney Northern Beaches, Sydney North Shore and Sydney CBD.
Marcia is a Medicare and Private Health Fund provider and is also a SIRA (NSW Motor Accident Scheme) approved assessor of Permanent impairment for Mental and Behaviour Disorders .
