Viviane is a provisional psychologist who believes in a compassionate, safe and non- judgmental therapeutic environment. She draws on evidence-based practices and values a holistic approach to mental health and well-being.
In her practice, Viviane focuses on interventions that can create positive changes on emotional, cognitive and behavioural levels. She uses an integrative model to tailor therapy to clients’ unique needs.
Viviane works primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach; however, she also uses aspects of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology and Psychodynamic interventions.
With experience in private practice and psychiatrist settings, such as the Northern Beaches Hospital, Viviane can assist in the assessment and treatment of a range of issues including mood and anxiety disorders, low self- esteem, grief and loss, adjustment and life transitions, and stress management. She has a special interest in infertility problems, perinatal and post-natal mental health.
Viviane holds a Bachelor of Psychology from Macquarie University and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced from Monash University. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and also an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
