Thaisa (Thai) is a registered psychologist and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Pontifical University of Sao Paulo, Brazil(PUC-SP) with international academic experience at the University of Porto, Portugal. She is also a member of theAustralian Association of Psychologists Inc (MAAPi) and Australian Psychological Association (MAPS).

Thai is also skilled at administering psychometric assessments focused on adult victims of Dosmetic Violence.
She prioritises the creation of a strong client/therapist alliance, building and safeguarding a non-judgmental environment, fostering the client’s sense of empowerment and autonomy.
Thai’s approach also embraces working with parents/caregivers as well as allied-health professionals involved in the child’s care and development (when appropriate). She enjoys working with parents/caregivers side-by-side, further reinforcing the relationship and alliance built with her clients, enabling their involvement in the design and implementation of joint strategies. This enables a holistic evaluation of a strategy’s effectiveness, and when necessary, working to further preserve a non-judgemental environment.
